Sculptra is a fully biogredadable, immunologic neutral product.It consists out of polylactate, which is a synthetic polymer used in medical fields since many years. It acts as a filler to the wrinkles. Adding to that, the production to collagen is induced so that new tissue is formed. Sculptra is non-toxic and non-allergic.

Indication
Scars, wrinkles and folds as well as volume-deficits in the cheek region may be treated with Sculptra.
Treatment
Sculptra can normalley be applied without anaesthesia. Although it is possible to reduce the local pain by using special anaesthetic cream or by cooling. Sculptra is injected through ultra-thin needles. An allergic testing is not necessary.
