Anesthesia
Usually operative procedures of the nose are done under general anesthesia. If minor corrections or limited operations at the tip of the nose are performed it is possible to do them in local anesthesia or with sedation and as an outpatient.

Duration of stay at the clinic
A stay of 2 days in the clinic is possible and recommended.

After the procedure
To minimize swelling and postoperative bruising the head should be kept elevated for 2 days.
In order to stabilize the nasal structures a small plaster splint will be applied for 12-14 days.
