Indications
Small, under-developed regions of the buttocks and a flat buttock shape can be corrected by gluteal augmentation. The above indications can be genetic, or can ensue as a result of weight loss.

Operation
The implants are inserted into a carefully prepared pocket which is formed below or inside the buttock muscle. A small incision is made for this purpose in upper the part of the fold of the buttocks.

Anaesthesia
The operation is relatively short and is generally performed under general anaesthesia.

Stay in the clinic
A stay of approximately two to four days as an in-patient is recommended.

After the operation
No sports for 2 - 3 weeks.
Compression hosiery for 4 - 6 weeks
